- Clumsy to put on with one arm
This is a good idea wrongly executed.The wrap is too clumsy and hard to put on with one good arm. The long strap that crosses the body is too long and velcros towards the back which is virtually unreachable.The short strap that holds the shoulder pack on your arm also velcros towards the outside or back when it should be accessible in front.The unit ices nicely but it puts way too much pressure on the sore area when the straps are velcroed on and these straps are very difficult to readjust ... I have had shoulder problems for a while and icing my shoulder has been a constant problem.This is the answer.Easy to use and the ice pack works much better than the frozen packs from the store.The velcro is not too difficult to use by yourself and once you get it on you can adjust it easily.

I wish I had purchased this product shortly after shoulder surgery.I used freezer bags and tape before I found this product. I bought it recently and I am pleased with it. It offers compression and holds the ice in place. I would recommend this to anyone with shoulder issues, since ice brings down the swelling. The only thing that may be better is the upgraded version with two ice packs.

I am recovering from Rotator/Labrum Surgery.This ice wrap works great.I just go to our icemaker, add a bit of water and it is ready.The velco straps allow you to adjust for comfort and it stays on your shoulder with no problems.You can also adjust how cold you want the wrap to be be adjusting how much water you add.

There's not much to this - what you see is what you get.I am pretty active for my age (47) and had shoulder surgery last year to repair a sports injury.Gel packs don't get a cold as ice and don't stay cold as long if kept in a home freezer, so a real ice bag is best I think.This also allows you the option to partially fill with water, which allows the bag to conform to the area of application better.
