For me it seemed alittle slow to take off, but once your into the film you understand that hey! I need to just hold in and listen to what it has to say otherwise I will miss the plot, once in I really enjoyed everything about the film. Worth purchasing really!.

YES THIS HAS ENGLISH CLOSED CAPTIONS FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED and is a GREAT movie.GREAT story. i grew up with a young man from an orphanage he was always smiling and laughing but you could see the far away look in his eyes.i really could see him in this story.

I ordered this product (a great movie) and it was never delivered.The mechant claimed it was rejected at the delivery point which is not likely since I had it delivered to my work address (it was a surprise for my wife's birthday).Failed transaction lead to a no sale.Go figure...

ORIGINALLY I SAW THE MOVIE ON HBO AS MANY TIMES AS IT APPEARED. THEN I GOT SICK OF WAITINGFOR IT TO COME ON AGAIN. I RENTED AUGUST RUSH FROM THE LIBRARY AND PLAYED IT OVER AND OVER. THEN I FINALLY BOUGHT IT FROM AMAZON.IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE AND THE MUSIC AS ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING.HOW COME A MOVIE IS SO GREAT ( AND I KNOW THE OUTCOME ) THAT I WANT TO SEE AND HEAR IT ALL THE TIME?

I've never had a movie make me really cry in my entire life but this one did. The ending is so powerful it grabbed me like nothing else I've ever seen on film. You must see this movie.
