Pros:
- Sound quality is excellent; even the second handset which is upstairs
- much better than the non-DECT 6 machines I had earlier
- speakerphone works well; also has headphone jack for long calls
- voice mail indicator works with Verizon's voicemail as well as the internal answering machine
- lightweight handset that doesn't feel flimsy (haven't tested the drop-and-splash resistance)
- built-in answering machine can be operated from second handset too

The phones were very easy to install and the instruction were simple to understand. I have always had Panasonic phones because they stand up to wear and tear, but this phone beats them all out.I have never had a phone that talks to me. At times it is difficult to understand the name of the person calling but then again there are some very difficult names for me to pronounce.I am very happy with the phones and highly recommend them.

I purchased this set plus 3 additional handsets 3 months ago to replace 3 different type 5.0 phones we had in several rooms.Never was real satisfied with those, don't think they were much if any better than the older types. So didn't expect to much from these, except at least they would be all the same.I am pleasently suprised.I have 2 of the hand sets 2 brick walls from the base and they work great.Every thing operated fine right out of the box (speaking of the box, the box designer is a ... *Easy-to-use functions like voice mail, phone directory, redial, etc.

*Two phones that share information (such as phone directory)
*Second phone doesn't need a phone jack connection -put it anywhere!

I have owned several Panasonic phones in the past and have always been happy with the brand. This model more than lived up to my expectations. It is easy to set up and use, and is very comfortable to hold. I highly recommend this phone.
