Great tuner!The picture quality is one of the best I've seen and I've owned many pc tuners.I love that you can utilize analog and the digital tuners at the same time (be sure to get the latest drivers from the Amd website).The digital tuner can also receive QAM non-encrypted from sources such as your cable company which I have been utilizing with Charter and have a great picture utilizing it in Beyond TV 4.The remote is simple and nicely laid out however if your going to use Beyond Tv I suggest ... The TV Tuner works great with Windows Media Center. Recognizes ATSC digital TV over air, and NTSC Cable both at the same time so works as a true dual tuner. You can connect both ATSC wire as well as NTSC wire at the same time. I cannot comment on the ATI software for watching TV simply because it takes some time to setup and Media center setup is easy and works fine. I did not even have to install the driver as Windows Vista with Media center found it automatically.

I set up a mini computer DVR system and used this tird of a device. It worked -sometimes. Due to overheating or some inherent flaw I had to periodically unplug it and plug it back in when it would decide to stop working, then it would work for some arbitrary time, then poop-out. It still records when it feels like it but the quality is odoriferous! No joke this thing sucks.

This tuner works great with Vista & Windows7 Beta. I love this tuner because it also picks up the QAM signals. If you live in an area where you cannot get over-the-air HDTV (ATSC), then this is the tuner for you.
If you are using Vista, then you should get the Media Center TV Pack 2008. With this update, Media Center will automatically scan for the QAM channels and configure the guide accordingly.
