This is actually my first Lodge purchase, since every other cast iron piece I own is either Griswold or WagnerWare (or the odd unmarked piece I've picked up at antique shows here and there.) But the smaller Griswold dutch ovens are really expensive, so I was very pleased to see a nice price on a 3-quart Lodge dutch oven.
I bought this because my larger dutch ovens (a #8 and a #9) are really too big to use for No-Knead bread, and I also wanted a smaller dutch oven to cook with as well. ... Read More
