It has 8GB which is plenty just for music. I can download pics and videos if I want to. Amazon gave me a bundle pack so I have a hard clear case to protect it. I have all the travel adapters as well when I am out and about and need to charge it to work out. I love that I have the screen to see what I have to listen to or pic from playlists. I love it and would recommend anyone for it.

I know that this is the older model, but it works fine, and it's pretty nice looking. I got this for my husband and he seems to like it a lot. Time machine feature is fun, and I wish my ipod has one.

I got the 16gb version of this player today from Ebay (perfect condition, no headphnes) for for about 30% of the cost here. I own several mp4 and mp3 players all with great sound including less famous brands coming out of China. The sound on this SONY is outstanding, but when you consider all of the other features to be found on players like the Samsung Q1 (or even the gorgeous touch screen P2 these days) for more than $100.00 less, I can not justify recommending this player over them; not for ... The Sony 16-Gig Walkman Stereo MP3 Player is truly a super product.The device holds lots of music and the ear buds that come with it have high quality sound.So the whole unit gives superior output as well as having decent capacity - e.g. holds up to 4000 music files.

Unless you are waiting for the newer touch-screen MP3's or perhaps, a little more storage capacity, this device could be an exceptional option.
