I have been a Lalah Hathaway fan for years since her debut R&B album. During the years, the course of her career it steered more to Jazz. I do have an appreciation for jazz and her collaberation with Joe Sample was great. This CD revisits her beginning of R & B music without ignoring the jazz influences and her evolving as an artist.
