Product Description:
The suicide bombings carried out in London in 2005 by British Muslims revealed an enormous fifth column of Islamist terrorists and their sympathizers. Under the noses of British intelligence, London has become the European hub for the promotion, recruitment and financing of Islamic terror and extremism - so much so that it has been mockingly dubbed Londonistan. In this ground-breaking book Melanie Phillips pieces together the story of how Londonistan developed as a result of the collapse of traditional English identity and accommodation of a particularly virulent form of multiculturalism. Londonistan has become a country within the country and not only threatens Britain but its special relationship with the U.S. as well.

- Good read
I served in the Air Force at Greenham Common from 89-91.I thought the immigration problem was at a pitch then.My wifes friend lives in London now and told her that the place is nothing but muslim.I couldn't believe the country that spawned Churchill and Thatcher would just role over for the cult of death called islam. Now they're going to build a mosque the size of Wembly arena. My God.Read the book and wake up.

- A Case Against the Godless
This book lost me in the introduction. It is no more than a chance to insult the "godless" and homosexuality politics. Instead of letting us know what can be done to educate us against terrorism, Phillips uses her arguements to push right wing politics.
Those of us that are open-minded and accept diverse cultures, do not tolerate violence and terrorism. We can fight terrorism without punishing those who deviate from the "norm". The author continuously refers back to Christianity as the "normal" ... Read More

- Enraging
Ignore what the naysayers write about this book. I'm currently reading this and am shocked and disgusted at what is happening in Britain. This book coincides with many other reports. This is definetly not propoganda.I encourage others to read this.

- A Must Read for the Future of the West
11 January 2009. As we watch the unfolding war against Terrorist Group Hamas in Gaza, and the portrayal of 'victim culture' by the BBC, CNN and other blind media agents, I would like to recommend that anyone who cares about their future pick up and read 'Londonistan'. It is without doubt a call to action by Ms. Phillips to re-awaken vigilance and question the 'leadership' installed in not only the UK, but Europe and the U.S.
Islamist Jihad is unfolding as we speak. Phillips leads us through ... Read More

- Waste of Time, Money, and Trees
To say I did not like this book would be a compliment to everything I hate. It was abysmal. I don't know if it was her overarching racist attitudes about it, or the fact that she clouded what could've been a thoughtful and inciteful analysis with her own personal politics as she decried the actions of the left, or that she lambasted the undemocratic practices of these "Muslim" terrorists, while at the same time criticizing and accusing those democratically elected leaders of Britain of being terrorist sympathizers, ...
