Product Description:
20th Century AVP - Alien vs. Predato/Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem (Unrated Two-Pack) (Blu-ray) In delivering PG-13-rated excitement, Alien vs. Predator is an acceptably average science-fiction action thriller with some noteworthy highlights, even if it squanders its opportunity to intelligently combine two popular and R-rated franchises. Rabid fans can justifiably ask "Is that all there is?" after a decadeof development hell and eager anticipation, but we're compensated by reasonably logical connectionsto the Alien legacy and the still-kicking Predator franchise (which hinted at AVP rivalry at the end of Predator 2); some cleverly claustrophobic sets, tense atmosphere and impressive digital effects; and a climactic AVP smackdown that's not half bad. This disposable junk should've been better, butnobody who's seen Mortal Kombat or Resident Evil should be surprised by writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson's lack of imagination. As a brisk, 90-minute exercise in generic thrills, however, Anderson's work is occasionally impressive... right up to his shameless opening for yet another sequel. Forthose who found 2004's Aliens vs. Predator too lightweight in the gore-and-guns department, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem offers a marked improvement in both categories, as well as a respectable amount of rumbles between the title extraterrestrials. Set in the 21st century (which predates the story to all of the Alien features), Requiem sends a crippled Predator ship crashing to Earth in a small Colorado town; unbeknownst to the locals, the craftis loaded with H.R. Giger's insectoid monsters, which make quick work of most of the population. Asthe human cast is slowly whittled to a few hardy (if unmemorable) souls, a Predator warrior also arrives to complicate matters and do battle with theAliens, as well as a ferocious alien-Predator hybrid (dubbed a Predalien

Take 3,000.00 full hd tv a 400.00 blue ray player, and only get a narrow wide screen. Would never buy this aspect ratio.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AVP - Alien vs. Predator / Aliens vs. Predator blu-ray
If you like the aliens series and are a comic book fan then you will love these sequeals.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - AVP Unrated 2-Pack
The first movie was great, but the second left me a little stunned that they would even attempt to make an alien/predator together. The creature looked foolish, kind of a spoof. Overall the movies were OK.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Lets Kill Everything !!!
This is a great Sci-Fi package. In AVP Predator has a love interest and is a posthumous hero. In AVP Requiem it turns into a kill fest. Everybody gets a chance to die with copious amounts of gratuitous violence. Hoo Rah!, ain't it grand!!!!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Alien vs Predator/Alien vs Predator Requiem 2 Pack
Though the story line for these two movies are substandard the special effects and presence th Aliens and Predators make it worth getting for any serious fan cinemas two deadliest and interesting monsters. The Blu Ray editions of these films are excellent and so definitely be part of your collection. Even if you didn't like them too much in the movie theatre give them a shot on Blu Ray as it adds that little extra something. I certainly enjoyed them.
