It seems I have been on the "bleeding edge" of consumer electronics for my whole life, which is my cross to bear as an early adopter of technology. I once paid $1000 for a VCR when they first came out in 1980. So anyway, I bought a wonderful Panasonic 50" plasma 1080p HDTV last fall.Blue-Rays were selling for $400 at the time, but I decided I'd wait until Panasonic Blue-Ray prices fell to under $150 (you know this will happen). Simple and straightforward for those who don't spend hours copying DVDs or tapes to DVD. Integrates with other panasonic products without fuss.The seller also provided a good price compared to retail stores.
Rating: - Plays Everything & "Dim Sum"
Great Price and boy does it play every, and I mean every, DVD
If you do any of your own recordings it will handle it.
Even plays European formats like old French Movies ( why you would want to I don't know because the French make BORING movies ), but it can.
I think this player could play a peanut butter sandwich, although that might void the warranty.
I have some DVDs I backed up and a friend tried to play it on his DVD and laptop and could not - but this player plays it, with ... Read More
