- Super picture on my HD TV
This DVD player is so close to Blu-Ray it's not funny.I saved so much money and now have a picture so crisp my Blu-Ray owning friends are kicking themselves!Ha--I win!!

I purchased this player because of the great reviews and the fact that Consumer Reports rated it well. It was to replace a more expensive Sony DVD/VCR RDR-VXD655 that started freezing up after only 4 months. I use the player solely for my exercise videos, which I use daily. The Sony apparently came equipped with security features that could only be repaired by Sony. They kept it for 3 months and still could not repair it. So, I was determined to buy a player that was not made with piracy in mind ... Read More

The first unit didn't work!It took a circuit of return and replace but they handled it professionally, paid for my return shipping, and the new unit is as advertised.S--- happens, so no problem.

Let me start by saying I am not the world's greatest videophile, but seriously, what more could you ask for in a DVD player?I have yet to run in to a file or disc that will not play on this unit.I love the USB slot on the front because it makes it so easy to play photos or video files right from a thumb drive.You no longer havehassle of burning media to a DVD to get it to play on your TV.My unit is connected to a Pioneer Kuro 50' plasma, and to tell the truth I don't see the difference ...
