very happy with the GolfLogix GPS... easy set up to download the software to my computer - creating an account is a breeze for any computer literate person... easy to follow steps for downloading the courses you want to have in the device... the instructions ask you to turn on the device for the first time at least 20 minutes before you play a round - i did that right from my front yard, leaving the GPS on a picnic chair - the funny thing was that it recognized the near by golf course and a message ... Ok, I spent alot of time checking over the golf GPS's out there.The GolfLogix GPS by Garmin is simple to use. Shows you all the yardages that you need to know, along with hazards, bunkers, yardage to and over to clear.Put it on the backside of my belt and always had it handy to know EXACTLY how far out I was.It was simple to program and download courses and simple to use.That was what sold me on this unit.How nice not to GUESS how far you are out or where the markers are.It does speed up ... When the GPS arrived, it was easy to download the course I wanted, and I immediately went golfing. It is easy to use,and a great tool on the golf course. Even a "D" flighter on the computer like me found it easy to use. I would recommend it highly.

I just ordered the Golflogix (have not yet received) and expect it to be a good device.It is heavily advertised as "by Garmin" etc.,but, when I contacted the Garmin web-site help desk to ask why this device is not on their site, they said they have nothing to do with Golflogix, they supply the case. and do not supply any support.They did refer me to the GolfLogix web-site.What's up with this?
