When I went to buy this 3 or so years ago I was a little apprehensive.I read a lot of negative reviews online that suggested the speed was low or that it died after less than a year of use.Luckily for me, neither of these have been an issue.I've had it for four years and it still works as great as I did when I first bought it.The speed is perfect for my everyday use downloading music, blogging, and watching videos online.

The Apple Airport Express is, as you might expect from an Apple product, straightforward and rather simple. I'll just jump to how this affected me, and how it will PROBABLY affect you (if you are in need of something like this). I moved into a dorm where I couldn't use a lot of the technology I'd bought (ex. Apple remote on iPod Touch) because my University doesn't support wireless Internet inside the residence halls. I'm very happy with this purchase.The sellers upgraded shipping to 2-day priority, which was a bonus.

I'm consultant spending most of my time staying at different hotels where wireless internet connection is often pretty bad or even not available.
Having said that this product seemed to be perfect match since there is no external power supply and can work in bridge mode to share hotel's wired connection.
This is awesome device, very small and perfect for road warriors. I didn't test how far away you can move from this device as I don't care otherwise I would be buying stronger device.

the item was in great condition, but they only used its own packaging when they shipped it, it wasn't in any sort of extra protection, and there was packaging tape all over the box.

other than that, great experience. a little more care in shipping would have gotten the fifth star.
