- Cheeeper Philips Norelco G370 better for beard
I don't know how the G480 works for cutting hair on your head, but for making cleanly demarcated sideburns or shaving a somewhat heavy beard to result in a close, stubble look it isn't as good as the cheaper Norelco G370 or a likewise cheaper Remington shaver, using either the G480's main shaving attachment or its 1" wide precision trimmer, with or without the plastic guides attached to them. The detail, micro foil shaver and nose hair attachments do seem to work better than on the G370 or on the ... Read More

After all these years, I have found an all-in-one, clipper system. And it's easy to clean.

I love the eyebrow trimmer! I dont think I will need the hair comb but the rest of the set is worth it. It would be nice if it were a vacuum system.

This is relevant for G370/G480:I purchased the trimmer as I liked the convenience of a cord free appliance.I travel a lot, so it's great to be able to pack and take with me.
It's very convenient, works really well - I use for trimming hair only.
Major downside is the flimsy adjustable hair trimmer.The adjustments are not very secure when fitted to the trimmer, however, the flimsy plastic teeth on the comb easily break.I've contacted Philips/Norelco and it's not possible ... Read More

I found the Phillips Norelco All-in-One an invaluable tool to groom my moustache, goatee & patch.Great for eyebrow trimming (for those of us over 40). Good value for the money, and I wish I had purchased it sooner.Only drawback is that a charge does not last as long as the manufacturer claims.
