- Here's what they don't tell you
My biggest problem with this phone is storing numbers.Although the phone can store up to 50 numbers you have to do each phone individually.That means if you have a 3 phone set as I do you have 150 numbers you have to manually insert.Furthermore each time you enter a number you have to go thru 4 prompts before finally getting into the storage area.
If you want to store a number from Caller ID where the call is coming from a different area code you cannot simply hit a couple of ... Read More

The Ge 2882, is fair, it is light and handy but, the delay in completing a line connection( and the #1) is frustrating and dropped calls are frequent .Disturbing line interference may be attributed to Verizon. Yet, one suspects it is a problem with the phone.i do not use the digital answering machine, as I prefer voice mail .JT.

The phone looks appealing, and the sound is good.But like other reviewers, the blue lights are a bit much at night.The handset lights up every so often, which lights up the room.If your locating it anywhere but a bedroom, this phone would be great.

Display is great but the volume is weak for a phone of this caliber....even when cranked up to 5 the Highest Volume setting it is not particularly great. The other thing that is disappointing is the placement of the speakerphone and regular phone on buttons. This is not that bad though and with time i am getting more used to it. The phone is quite sleek and comfortable to use. However the lack of volume strength really bothers me, very difficult to hear well with anything else going on in the room. ... Read More

I was hesitant about this phone b/c I don't use the google 411. But after going thru 4 other cordless phones, this was the last one to pick from at Walmart. I LOVE it! Unlike all the other phones I tried, I can hear the other person well and they can hear me! Every other phone I tried I could hear my kids (3 & 5) echoing in the phone and not the person on the phone!! I do not hear any static or background noise in the headset or speaker phone! After many returns, I wish I would of tried this phone first!! ... Read More
