Rating: - VERY Erratic. Must make repeated finger swipes, Does not work in Firefox 3
VERY ERRATIC. First of all, it looks neat and is a great concept but it sucks. Setting up each finder took about 60 scans per finder. Gave up after scanning 4 fingers because I have to go to work on Monday. Anyway, after all that, I thought great, now I can finally start using it. Load up Firefox, hit a password protected site and boom - "Sorry, the Protector is not compatible with this version of Firefox." (Using version 3 which is about 8 months old now).

Rating: - Fingerprint Scanner Rocks
This fingerprint scanner works great with my new iMac and it installed exactly as described in the manual.

It took little practice to get the finger swipe right -- I was used to the Microsoft PC version where you press your finger down flat -- but they have an animated demo in the setup program that guides you.

Once installed it works flawlessly, which is much more than I can say for Microsoft's PC version that often must be pressed a few times for good recognition.Some ... Read More

Eikon Digital Privacy Manager USB Finger Print Reader (Works with Firefox, Vista, and Mac) Is a great tool and I love it ease of use and control. Just don't overthink its simplicity!!! and you will find it easy to Saftely Access all of your personal, business, private and other web sites/pages or use your own imagination. The programming of this device makes you in Control!!! what a simple but great product.

This is a great product! I log on and off of my machine all day with a long complex password and this product has made my life easier. Where have you been all of my life? Keep in mind it is my belief that it only keeps out the honest people.
Rating: - Excellent product!
Doesn't slow down the boot process.Recognizes fingerprints quickly and accurately.Easy to set up and use.After using the APC product with Omnipass software, I appreciate the ease and quickness of this product.

My only (very minor) complaint is that the LED is very bright and it blinks often, which was annoying until I put a piece of tape over it.
