I have a simpletech signature mini and it doesn't fit perfectly, I have to force it a little. That means that the drive will take part of the efforts if it gets compressed.
Manufacturers or sellers should make a list with compatible hardware.

I choose this product based on the price, and I'm pretty happy with the product itself. The outside has a nice grippy rubber feel that makes it easy to hold on to.The inside is felt lined, but I feel maybe a little limited in the amount of cushion it has. My Western Digital Passport fits snugly in the unit and there is room for the cord.
Overall I feel for the money I got a good case.I think it would definitely help prevent damage from a drop.
