One of the earliest known forms of music dating from the early Middle Ages, Gregorian chant was popularized by Enigma and the Benedictine Monks of Silos in the early and mid-1990s. I had heard many wonderful things about this CD so I ordered ir for myself, my grandson and my sister.If I could afford to, I'd send it to everyone I love!Beautiful, prayerful, peaceful.A must have in this time of uncertainty!
Rating: - A good introduction to this type of music
Chant Music for the Soul is meant to be just that. I suspect that the people who created what we call Greagorian Chant never thought that
everyday people would listen to Chant just to relax, or for pleasure.
I suspect that the Monks who are singing these works hope that the listener comes away feeling better, or at least different about things
in their lives. I can only hope that the monks will have a chance to

The serenity of the music just soothes mind and body.The voices blend together to produce sounds that reach the soul and makes one dream of peace and contentment.I highly recommend purchasing this album and sit back and enjoy the bliss.

The Gregorian Chant CD was better than I thought it would be and I find it very restful to listen to and it brings back memories of music in church before Guitars!
