Everything, from the ease in installing to its unencumbered desktop and its small footprint place KUbuntu (Ubuntu with a KDE interface) heads and shoulders above any of Microsofts OS's with only ONE EXCEPTION, it's cost.
I strongly recommend that anyone interested in kissing the Blue Screen of Death goodbye obtain this software.

I'm long time Linux user and for two years used ubuntu and decided give a try to kubuntu. KDE grew into very cool experience! As I wasn't sure which one I'm gonna stay with, I ordered Kubuntu, Ubuntu and Linux Training Library 2DVDs+CD and it actually provides both! Enjoy! It is awesome Linux distro, real cutting edge! The graphics real cool and advanced, the software bundled etc. I'm still missing decent video editing for Linux... may be something decent soon? The control is effortless, no bug s ... Read More
