- 4 Men not Women oops
I am a woman and thought this looked so cute and my style. Not made for a woman too big and bulky. Made for a big foot does not compliment a womans foot.

- Much more comfortable
Compared to breaking in a pair of conventional Birks, these are a breeze. They didn't hurt half as much during the first few wearings. The rubber (plastic?) sole seems much more durable than the pressed cork, and I have a feeling these will last longer, but even if they don't, I can just buy another pair, slip out the inner leather sole, and put them into the new pair, and cut the break-in time considerably. So yeah, they aren't completely traditional, but I think the changes are a definite improvement.

These were hardly what I would expect from Birkenstock. I ralize the cost was pretty cheap, but the comfort waulity of the sandle was very disappointing.
The shoe is made sturdily, but inside (where my foot goes) was poorly engineered. The foot-base which on regular Birkenstocks is usually quite soft and comfortable was rough and annoying, while the inside by the sdie of my foot was uneven and raouhg as well.

I tried 2 different sizes of this shoe and thought they just didn't look right on me (a woman). too big and clunky. i think this shoe is better suited for a man. they are of sturdy quality and i think well worth the price.

This is a terrible shoe; thick heavy straps; difficult to adjust to tighten; feel like boxcars even though they offered no 1/2 sizes so I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear.I returned the shoes!!
