Rating: - Does what it's supposed to do and does it well
Overall I'm pleased with this purchase. As men age we grow hair in places where we don't need it. I say trim that hair away! I picked these up on Amazon and they work well. They travel well and a battery will last for a long time. The top does seem to come off magically and of its own accord in my shaving kit. That being said I would still strongly recommend these to a hairy friend.

I have ear hair like Yoda, and so this was the ultimate challenge for an electric trimmer. I found that the Mangroomer rocks, especially for $15, it's a bargain and is well constructed from thick plastic.
You can take it apart and clean it in water. It runs off a single AA battery, and is no more noisy than a regular electric shaver. And it does shave close, not quite as close as a blade, but very acceptable, even for nose hair. Use it about every 5-7 days.

The Mangroomer Ear and Nose Hair Trimmer is the best i have used. My old trimmer always took about 7 minutes to get all the hair in my nose which is way too long and then it just died. So far, this one has impressed me with its higher power motor and gets the complete nose done in about 2 minutes and does a much better job. Only need to use it about every 3 days a wekk and will tell others to buy it over the others which are weak if they ask.
