- Worst Kitchen Appliance I Own
I can only assume that I purchased a defective Aroma 16-cup Cool Touch Rice Cooker, because I don't understand how anybody could rate this above two stars.
I 'cooked' a small batch (four cups) of brown rice this evening.After 75 minutes I finally opened the cooker to discover a murky, tan rice porridge.Brown rice, white rice.I've never had success with this machine.

This was purchased as a gift for a friend. They couldn't have been more pleased with the sharp appearance and versatile function. We reviewed a lot of rice cookers and this one really stood out! I think I'm going to have to get one for myself now!
Rating: - Works well and rice turns out just right
This rice cooker does a nice job even with small batches.If your kitchen space is at a premiumn keep in mind it is fairly large, but works great.
Rating: - PERFECT FOR MY USE
This rice cooker is the right size and has the right options for my use.We mostly cook white rice and this cooker does the job.To avoid the brown film of rice I turn the cooker to steam option just before all the water evaporates and no brown film appears at the bottom. On the brown rice option I also cook lentils like yellow lentil, green gram, etc..and they cook real nice! As for how long it is going to last me compared to the last one I used which lasted only 3 months...too early to say as I ... Read More

I bought this week at Target for $28.00 on sale. Excellent rice cooker.
I give it 4 stars because the steamer is poorly designed. They should have had the holes in the steamer a little smaller and more number of holes.
The peas actually fall through. Don't know who tests these products
