The gameplay is great, when you finally get to it. The time waiting for each song to load takes soooo long.

I am a middle-aged mom who rocks on this game because it has so many great songs on it. I have played guitar and now working on drums. This is a great game with songs on it that every generation should know.
Rating: - Trying to keep up with Rock Band while alienating some Guitar Hero fans
First off, I don't use the World Tour equipment.I use the wireless Kramer Striker guitar from the GHIII bundle, and I use the Rock Band drums and microphone (which work flawlessly, by the way, although the Rock Band drumkit has one less drum).
Overall, it feels like they're trying to mimic Rock Band and succeeding in some ways, but failing in others.

I was at Best Buy today looking to just purchase the drum kit only for guitar hero world tour...NO GAME INCLUDED! I've played the game for a while at gamestop...pretty good like the others. But red octane, activision, etc is gonna screw people who may have enough guitars and just want the drum kit itself! They're basically saying, if you want the game too, buy the the complete band kit! To me this a crock! you have to spend an extra 30.00 for something that should've been included! I may not buy anything ... Read More
