I've has this razor about a month now, and so far it's doing a good job. I've always used Norelco, but last year when my old one died I changed to Panasonic ES8043SC Pro-Curve Pivot Action Linear Wet/Dry Shaver, and wasn't happy with it. I used that one for a year, and it never dod a good job on my neck unless I pushed real hard, then it would cut me. (Luckily, I droped it and it shattered so I needed a new razor) This one is VERY quiet, and does a better job than the Panasonic. Close shave, not ... Read More

Usually I use these reviews as my guide as to whether or not i'll buy the product or not and let me tell you the reviews were all accurate on this shaver. It's really great. It makes very little noise which makes you think well is it really doing anything but trust me its doing everything.

I've used Norelcos for 40 years, and this one is the best one yet.The only flaw is that my prior Norelco had 5 LEDs to indicate amount of charge left, and how close it was to fully charged when recharging.Neat.But this one has just a single LED to tell you it's fully charged.I took a half star off for that.
Where did the other half star go?The packaging!This was the most overpackaged product I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot of bad ones.The box was 10" by 7" by 5". ... Read More

This is a replacement for my older Norelco triple head shaver. The new one is lighter but holds a charge much longer and is quieter.Seems to shave as well, if not better, than my older model.I have not used water to clean it, as described in the owner's materials.So far, I'm pleased.
