If you are looking for a technical analysis of checmicals reactions about the body you really won't get alot of it here.It is not meant to study from.
Rather I would say what the book is about is a person who relayed her experiences as a researcher in the medical industry.

I feared it may be over my head so I put off starting it, but boy, was I wrong! Dr Pert really spells everything out for you. A real page turner!
