- HP tech support sucks
The PC isn't a bad model but there are plenty out there like it. What really distinguishes any manufacturer is how they provide support. HP is the worst. I've had to call twice and neither time was I given anything but rudeness and completely unhelpful advice. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that I work in IT and therefore knew to ignore things the tech told me, my problems would have been exacerbated. NEVER PURCHASE AN HP PC. I regret having done so and never will again.
Rating:
- Poor, unstable product
This computer seemed to be a decent price for the performance, but it has turned out to be very dysfunctional system. Every few days or so the system's performance degrades to the point it is essentially unusable. No amount of regular tuning, defragging, or malware checking has prevented this from happening. The only solution is let it sit for several hours, usually overnight, and eventually it becomes useable again. On other days, the computer graphics and sound will stutter randomly when attempting ... - Review Update
My system started freezing up when I applied some driver updates through windows. It seems to be the tv tuner update or an nvidia update that is causing these crashes.I will just update them through the manufacturer instead. After restoring to the point prior to these updates the system runs fine and runs fine after running prime 95 torture tests. So I don't think there is a over-heating problem just a driver problem through windows update.

- Blazing Fast
This is a super fast computer and I actually like Vista on it.This thing should last for years. If it only had blue ray and 1 TB hard drive it would be un-beatable.Vista starts up and runs faster than all of my XP's. 6 GB Ram is more than enough and the graphics card is what really makes it worth it.

- Decent PC but strobe light is annoying
I've had this computer for about five months now and I have not had any problems with it. I LOVE the fact that you can watch tv instantly and you can even watch it in a small screen (you can adjust the size to your preference) and still work and do other things.
There are two annoying things:
1. The blue light on the front of the computer is very bright and when the computer goes into standby, it flashes very fast and bright like a strobe. So if you have this computer on at night and ... Read More
