I was given a Rival programmable 6qt over the holidays. Cooked way too hot. Did some research and decided on this slow cooker. I decided to do an experiment. I took my old 3.5qt Rival(about 10yrs old), the new 6qt Rival programmable and the Hamilton Stay or Go and put water in each about an inch from the top. Set them each on low and took temperature readings after 6 hours. The Rival 6qt was 20 degrees warmer than the other two. This slow cooker works great.

Nice size and design for this slow cooker.Despite its size, it is not heavy to move around the kitchen or to the car.The copper kettle look is a nice addition to the counter top.

I have this in the stainless steel color. I absolutely love it! It is important to know that you can only use the hinges when traveling, not while cooking. It's controls are very basic with high, low, and, heat. But its just what i was looking for.
