- Didn't work for the EnV2
The cable did not work for us, when plugged in it resulted in a "Battery is required" message. Purchased a cable from Verizon they shipped it FedEx 2-Day at no extra charge as it was out of stock. The Verizon cable worked with no problems. Running DataPilot on Mac OS X.

It's a shame a traditional USB cable wont work.I'm sure LG designed it that way so they could make some extra money selling the cables.That's why I gave it 3 stars.
Anyways, I was able to connect it to my computer and download songs and ringtones no problem.I can't say for sure, but I don't think I used the CD.Just used BitPim.

Item delivered by BargainCell 5 days EARLIER than expected date; came with WinXP drivers for the cable for LG cellphones. [free BitPim software, available on the net (search for: bitpim)]. Cable, drivers, & program are just what I needed to manage my Verizon VX9100 env2. Very pleased!

Inexpensive cable works fine.Software is only for Motorola phones, so it doesn't work for my LG.

Well, there's not much to say about this cable. After all, it's only a cable. These are used by devices which incorporate the MICRO USB port/plug/cable/whatever-you-want-to-call-it format.
For me, it's used with the LG VX9100 and it works fine. It does what it's supposed to do. I can transfer files to and from the phone(using BitPim) or directly to the memory card when it's in the phone. It also charges!
