- Nice grill!
I had read previous reviews repoor packaging - wasn't sure what to expect howeverminecame intact from Amazon in a HUGE box.
Grill is easy to set up, very nice wide heavy duty grate, no food will roll off of it!
Have not grilled on it yet, too much rain in my area.

- good grate, poor tripod
I've had a few grills of this type over the years for camping. The last ones were made by Coghlan's.they had a great tripod but the grill grate was cheap and sagged and warped after the first season.The Rome grill has a much better and heavier grill grate but the tripod is junk; small diameter tubing and difficult to assemble without the legs falling apart.I've mounted the Rome grate on the sturdy Coghlan tripod and am using that now.

The tripod is just what I been looking for. Serves all my outdoor cooking.
I don't have to worry about the dogs rolling of the grate when cooking.

recieved item in timly fashion, however the box was only wrapped in plastic wrap, box was torn and punctured, contents were all over.All in all, every thing was there, but expected better shipping.Tri-pod can be wobbly at first, but nice heavy chain and grate is a plus. Having own many of Romes items, not really the quality I expected but ok for camping. Wouldn't want to ship it for a gift though, not sure how it would end up.
