I love Nikon Capture for converting my Raw files.I'm a beginner and lazy to read the book so I go to Nikon Website and learn how to edit still pictures.I hope Nikon will teach us all the tips and tricks on editing Raw files.I am also glad that some users share their knowledge on how to edit files in many ways.

I have been using the software for the last 60 days with the free trial and it has won me over. I am a MAC user so I was very much leaning toward Aperture and I have also been using the free trail of that for the last 30 days. Now, I will admit that Aperture is much nicer for batch editing, but the quality of the output in my mind is far better from Capture NX2. Because of this I have opted for a slightly more cumbersome work flow, but a much higher quality image, which makes it totally worth it. ... Read More

I find this software really easy to use for colour manipulation.Working with Nikon's RAW format requires that you remember to save the files in some other format if you want to share them with others.It is much faster than Photoshop Elements.

Well I'm no pro.........I'm a serious amatuer photographer
I own a nikon D300 as well asa few Nikon lenses anda new gateway triplecore processor computer.I guess using a new computer really makes a difference......Well.the nx2 software i find is teriffic in correcting.and perfecting my nature shots...
in fact I discovered that I can take a shot that I did with my nikon fisheye lens.and straighten it to aperfect wide angle shot.............wow.........!!!......as well as to many refinements ... Read More

For anyone using a Nikon with RAW capability this is a must have. The features that are available in this program that are specific to NEF are incredible and not found in any other software. It is also very affordable especially when compared to programs like Photoshop CS. It has many of the same editing features at a fraction of the cost. However it is not a complete replacement of the aforementioned program, but it gives a user a good head start on techniques that can be complimented by other software like ... Read More
