- Best JoeB Live Album
This album does the best job so far of capturing the experience of seeing Joe live. "Woke up Dreaming" is my favorite track because it captures the amazing energy Joe puts into his live performances. I didn't like the song "Sloe Gin" on the Sole Gin album -- it seemed saccharin to me. When I saw Joe perform it live it seemed more heartfelt, and I liked it much more. The version of "Sloe Gin" on this album is like what I saw live, and it's one of the best songs on this album. Overall this is a fantastic ... Read More

- It's all there in one place!!
The soul in the voice, along with the guitar, and it's all there.I've listened to great blues guitar players, but without that sound, you know, the one that comes from the gut, they don't always make the grade. Joe Bonamassa has both the gut-check in the voice, AND them he accompanies that voice with his guitar.Perfect duet with two instruments, the voice and the guitar. Wow, this music just makes me feel something so powerful, it's hard to describe, and unless you hear it for yourself, you won't know ... Read More

- More than worth it
This double CD set is more than worth the cost even if you have all of Joe's other CD's. It contains some rare live performances and really long (but Great) versions of some of his most popular favorites. Several contain medleys including bits of somes like ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid" and Yes's "Starship Trooper" as well as riffs fromLed Zep and Peter Frampton. They are truly hard to get tired of and remind me more of Joe's early releases. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
