- Monitobas Finest Musical Fowl
I would like to think that I was the only one (besides Mark & Brian) lucky enough to be present during the webcast this morning of,"The Duhks" live performance in the tiny in-house studio of KLOS 95.5 FM Radio Station to hear the incredibly unique sounds emanating from my PC, since Thor invented Electricity. - Thoroughly enjoyable!
Had listened to the Duhks on the radio and really enjoyed them. Finally saw them live this past weekend at World Cafe Live in Philly, and they were amazing. They played most of Fast Paced World and I just had to buy it. I have also listened to their older work and agree this new recording and their new sound is an evolution. The old stuff was much more in the traditional bluegrass mold. - Not for me, a different group
I have the Duhks first 3 CDs , and "Migrations", The last one was my favorite. This has a totally different sound, I can't stand most of it, sounds like retro big band ,some of it. Really weird recording. They are a Canadian group who has made a large change in their style. You may like it.Me, no thanks.

- Third time is a charm
This is the third CD by the Duhks and, I think, the best yet.Even with a new drummer and vocalist they haven't missed a beat and just seem to be getting better. This is probably my favorite CD of the ones I've purchased in the past year.
