- Web navigation, eMail and Instant Messaging (IM). Panda sends queries to the cloud whenever an executable program is received. Keep in mind that it is not very common to receive executables, dll files, etc via this media.
- On-access scan (processes/libraries loaded in memory). How does it work? Imagine that 40 files are loaded in memory; Panda sends a query to the cloud and confirms them to be good ware. A couple of hours later, there are 42 programs uploaded in memory, from which 40 were already loaded and checked before. Panda will ONLY perform the check for the new 2 programs, since the other 40 have been checked before. A minimum PC and bandwidth consumption is used when sending queries to the cloud.

I bought the 3-user license of Global 2009 in January after an IT friend recommended it.It seems to be functioning well on my Win XP desktop, but I've been having real issues on my Vista pc.After I first began using it, I noticed that my laptop would get the blue screen of death when it came out of hibernation mode. I traced it back to Panda, sent them an e-mail which they never responded to. I refrained from letting the pc go into hibernate for weeks and then they must have fixed it with an ... Read More

Despite what they say this internet security suite is not vista 64 bit compatible nor is it i7 system compatible. I installed this on my new 64 bit i7 system and it started blue screen crashes, windows update errors, and program crashes. I uninstalled it and put on avg 8.5 internet security, and my new computer again runs like a dream.
Beware if you have a new high end system.

This is the second purchase of this product.The old version expired and had to be updated.The program is very diligent in keeping away the online threats and constantly gives you messages telling you that it caught something trying to sneak in while you aren't looking.The program is not as user friendly as some of the others, but you get more protection and the extra attention you need to give it is only during installation.Otherwise, it works flawlessly in the background with no attention ... Really slows the computer down.Had to remove the product and reinstall in order to reset the options to not have auto update. It had locked up the computer completely.I now have to manually download updates because otherwise it ties up my computer as soon as I turn it on in order to update.
There needs to be an option so that the update takes place after 5 minutes or so to allow time for the other programs to get up and running first.
Never had this trouble with Bit Defender!

I have run panda now for about 3 year very happy with it.I have tried Norton and was not impressed. Norton uses tomuch resources and slows down the pc.Mcafee is just annoyiing.Trend micro never worked So i tried panda and have been using it every since. virtualy unnoticed runs in the back ground and you wont know it is there. Panda will have a pop up when someone tries to access your wireless internet but it gets blocked and tells you so. I would say to try it you will like it.
