I ordered this purchase for a friend, and she asures me she is enjoying listening to all 4 CD in set especially Evergreen. and has ordered yet another CD by the same person her idol Roy Orbison.

This was supposed to be a CD containing all (or most of) of Roy Orbison's hits.IT DOES NOT!!The instrumentals completely bury the vocal.I would like to return them if I knew where to send them.
It is a terrible thing to cover up that beautiful voice.I will never purchase a CD again without a review, however in this case, it was not offered.Did anyone at Amazon review this??

the pakage is not to good but theze songs is clasics like only the lonely and candy clown.if you're cdz is not to scratched from the package than the music is the clasics that you always will remimber.

This was a surprise birthday gift for my husband who had his 75th birthday! We enjoyed listening to them and will share them with our grandchildren to intoduce them to the greatest singer in the world (as per my hubby) Yes, at 75, we still love country !! Thank you

The two missing stars are obviously not related to the incredibly pure and touching voice of the very sensitive man and musician called Roy Orbison. No, it's just that the way these songs are put together in this 4 CDs box is sometimes absurd and incomprehensible. Studio recordings followed by radio takes with an awful sound, a succession of different versions with no real interest: the buyer has to put it all together again and erase some dramatic choices.
