This album is awesome.The musical talent of the group, combined with the traditional roots and electronica influences are astounding.

- I suppose it depends on what you are seeking.
While searching for some different belly dancing music, I purchased both Collide and Tribal Derivations.While Derivations has some real possibilities, Collide sounds like Halloween music for a children's show.I gave it two stars only because the music itself is "interesting."

This band is truly one of a kind. the whole meshing of new idea and creativity is unmatched. hope they keep grooving for years to come. inspirational to the fullest!!!!!

I own the first album by Beats Antique and think I might even love this second one more. Wow. I can't stop listening. It's a cross between tribal bellydance, circus, hip hop and techno...great for tribal/dark bellydance, though I'm not a bellydancer, just LOVE the tunes. Saw them live recently (Oct. 08) and it was spectacular. Great album.
