- Worth the money.
This is the 2nd piece of All-Clad I own, and it's fantastic. I looked quite awhile for a stainless stock pot that was big enough and had a wide bottom; many merely get taller. The wide, very flat bottom is perfect for browning meats. It cleans beautifully, but you can't be afraid to use a little oil, this isn't non-stick. And it's easy to deglaze the pan for those wonderful browned bits. I never purchase items because of a label, designer's name or fad. After some consumer research, and actually ... Read More

This is a very useful pot for just about anything - pasta - soup - frying spinach and other leafy vegetables - stewing - I never put it away - it's always on my stove top.

All-Clad is the very best and most of their pans are compatible with Induction cooking I had the 6qt so I ordered all the larger pieces that had the aluminum core. I never like to cook in the exact size pan. I like to have ample extra room in the pan. I think the other is a 12 qt. and I have the steam insert that fits all those pans.
