- Great content, terrible price.
A fantastic installment in the new Dr. Who series -- but this price is unforgivable. The UK version of the DVD set is selling for only £20 or so -- roughly $30 US at current exchange rates.Give us a break, BBC...

- For Doctor #4
This is one of the very best of the new Doctor Who seasons. The writing is wonderful. The subtly of character development is one of the joys of the series.
Donna is a great assistant to and for the Doctor. She is a great foil to his wit. (Almost a spoiler coming up) Though her character is taken care of amazingly at the season's end fans do hope for a reprise as the other assistants have been.
If you own any of the other seasons this is one you will not want to leave out. ... Read More

This season wraps up as many remaining loose ends, open doors and unresolved plot lines as it was humanly possible to do in 4 seasons.Only a time lord could have done better.Donna Noble does takes time to grow into what she would become, but both her development over the course of this season as well as the season finale had me running back through earlier episodes again and again.Russell Davies is deliberately nurturing the Who fan's compulsive addiction to this immortal series.

As far as the serires goes, the fourth series has brilliant acting, excellent story lines and amazing chemistry. You would think Tennant and Tate were actually best friends. The Wasp and the Unicorn is the best Doctor Who episode for humor and the Forest of the Dead/Silence in the Library episode is emotionally intense and brilliantly creative. The acting and script are amazing for nearly every episode. (The final episode leaves you a little depressed, though.)
As for the DVD set, the only downside is there ... Read More
