This is a box of four filters that go into the Whirlpool Whispure 510 air cleaner I have. An indicator on the machine shows when the filter inside is too dirty for effective cleaning.I have vacuumed an old dirty filter about twice and reused it with no ill effects that I can detect.But finally I needed new filters.Amazon's price was best when I checked online.
