- A-List Sensibility
By far this surpasses most other entries into the genre. To be quite quick to the point, this film was approached with an A-list sensibility that probed the mind of it's central figure and exposed the "Hulk" as an aspect of Bruce Banner's psyche, invariably tied to an emotional trauma suffered at an early age.
Through every facet of its production this story and character was agreeably taken in a thoughtful direction that gave opportunity to create a far more dynamic character, with quiet and ... Read More

i don't know why so many people dissed this movie, but i really like it, from the all the actors to the director, i think they did a great job....and the blu-ray version is amazing

- Great Blu-Ray Transfer Helps
Boy, this got panned by a lot of people when it came out. Most of the criticism was probably warranted, but it wasn't all that bad a film. Mostly - but not all. It had its entertaining segments. The second scene with "The Hulk," with him fighting three dogs was very intense.
One of the problems was that it took 41 minutes for our hero, "The Hulk," to show up! Hey, for a cartoon-as-a-movie, that's too long for the audience to wait. Don't get me wrong: I don't want one of these brainless ... Read More

I like this movie more then the new one. It really is all preference because I watch all types of genres and prefer cinema. Picture is great exect the darker scences are extremely dark(dog fight scene).
For people who have not seen this or are just looking for a reason to compare both: The Incredible Hulk is comic book made to a comic book movie done right. Say what you want about this film.I purchased this Blu-ray as a guilty pleasure, but the good news is its video and audio are great.As one of Universal Studios' first Blu-ray discs this is excellent.Again, the movie is not without its detractors, but as a show piece this disc shines thanks to the wonderful picture quality and exemplary DTS-MA audio track.The extras, while modest, are entertaining and the only arguable thing about the disc is that its menu system mirrors those from the Mummy ...
