Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best cooking tool but bad lid knob design
I love everything about this pot-it has style, great functionality, design, a flat bottom (EXCELLENT Design)and produces some of the best food that I have cooked with even browning, braising, roasting etc. (I have only cooked beans and vegetables in this). It minimizes the amount of oil you have to use, even the liquid required to cook something and the time required (cost savings on gas). The pot is substantial and the lid is heavy and rimmed with little spikes on the underside (perhaps this helps ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for No Knead Bread
This 4 qt. pot is the right size to use for the No Knead Bread method and without fail the bread comes out crispy on the outside and nice and chewy with big holes on the inside. The lid has "spikes" to help retain moisture, which aids in the crispiness of the crust. It was either Mario Batali's or a Staub for me,but I'm glad I bought this over the Staub because of its everyday value and of course the price.I also use it to boil pasta and to make stews & curries because it retains heat for a long ... I bought this pot for my daughter who likes my 6-quart one which I bought two years ago. I love mine very much and it is getting a lot of use. My husband has gotten his hands on it to make his yearly Chacroute garni. Love it very much.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GREAT INVESTMENT
I have many dutch ovens including both French brands at triple the cost. This MB 4 quart is the one that I use the most. The Chianti color and design of the pot is very appealing. It cooks evenly and cleans up extremely well.In fact, I bought another in the Espresso color for our get away place. The 6 quart is nice too, but I don't use it quite as much as the 4 quart.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love it....
This pot is less money than some others but it looks just as beautiful and works just as well. It looks so pretty ,even when not in use, left out on the stove. It cooks well, keeps food warm, holding in the heat for a long time , even after the stove is turned off and it cleans well. I highly recommend it.It is also the perfect size, not too big, but also not too small.I chose the sage green color and Love it!
