Product Description:
Preferred by professionals, aluminized-steel is an excellent heat retainer and bakes consistently all the way up the sides of this commercial-quality pan. Precise folding technology is the key to the pan's strength: steel is folded over at the ends, tripling the corner thickness and reinforcing the rim. A wire rod is curled inside for extra strength and warp-resistance.
All Chicago Metallic Commercial Bakeware is made to meet the exacting standards of commercial bakers and home cooks who prefer the tradition of baking on uncoated pans. Each pan is crafted from aluminized steel that combines the durability, strength and heat conduction of an aluminum alloy. The uncoated surface offers good reflectivity for even dispersion of heat and more consistent, even baking and gradual browning. After repeated use, darkening of the pan will actually enhance baking performance.
Product Features
Traditional uncoated surface for consistent, even baking and browning
Holds up to metal utensils
Rust- and corrosion-proof
Finished with a rolled rim for added strength and warp-resistance
Oven-safe to 550 F
25-year limited warranty

- my new favorite pan
This has quickly become my go-to pan. It's that perfect size and weight I needed for roasting potatoes and vegetables. It's also a welcome relief not to have to baby some fragile finish. I expect to put this one to a lot of use.

- Nice Pan
I received this pan and put it right to work.It bakes evenly and consistently.Very nice pan.

- Top-quality bakeware
I have a set of loaf pans made just like this cake pan, from the same manufacturer. They have given me several years of perfect service, so I was delighted to find this pan. I have used it once and washed it twice (in the dishwasher), and it is just as good as the loaf pans. It cooks evenly, and food does not want to stick to the surface.
As one other reviewer mentioned, letting the pan soak would probably cause problems. I would be careful not to use a sharp knife to cut anything in ... Read More

- Simply the best value
I have been collecting Chicago Metallic bakeware to replace all my old, rusted bakeware. It is great value for the dollar, and gives superior results every time.I will continue adding to my collection.

- Sturdy
I just cooked a Lasagna in this pan and it worked just fine. This is not a non-stick pan but clean-up was very easy. A good pan for everything I even made gravy from a roast in it.
